Chris Timmins was a Textile and Design Teacher for 33 years  and is able to teach the beginner to the more experienced sewer.   Whether you are working on your own designs or one of many of her designs you will find the "class room" a very pleasant creative experience.

Despite having retired from school teaching, Chris still loves to teach school students to design and make quilts for various competitions. She is proud that these students have won 38 sewing machines in the last 20 years in competitions in Grafton, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Chris and Carolyn Hulbert from Misty Threads Dorrigo are currently organising the 8th Misty Mountain Getaway to be held in Dorrigo in September 2012. Over 160 excited patchworkers desend on Dorrigo to participate in over 35 workshops.
